SMATV Satellite Distribution
Head-end design and installation for satellite TV reception and distribution — multi-satellite LNB arrays (Nilesat, Arabsat, Hotbird, Eutelsat, OSN) received at a centralised equipment room and distributed through a structured coaxial IRS (Individual Reception System) network to every outlet in the building without requiring a separate decoder at each point. We engineer the head-end amplification levels, splitter cascade ratios, and cable loss compensation across all floors and risers to ensure every outlet delivers a signal level within the acceptable range — no weak or overdriven outlets at extreme points in the distribution network. The entire system is tested outlet-by-outlet using a spectrum analyser during commissioning, with measured signal levels documented in the test report provided to the client at handover.
IPTV Head-End & Encoding
IPTV head-end equipment room design with satellite, terrestrial (DVB-T), and OTT source integration — all channels encoded to IP multicast streams using MPEG-4 or H.265 and distributed over the property's existing or dedicated IP network to every TV screen without coaxial cable infrastructure limitations. The head-end is designed with hot-standby redundancy for critical installations (5-star hotels, hospitals) so a single encoder failure does not take channels offline for guests or patients. Channel stream quality is monitored continuously by the head-end management platform — with automatic alerts when bitrate drops, synchronisation errors occur, or satellite signal levels degrade below threshold.
